Commissioning | |||
MON/COMMIS ** | One day (09:00 – 17:00) on site commissioning of the system by Liteplan technician. Not including overnight stay. |
** Commissioning bookings will be accepted subject to pre-commissioning checklist being completed adequately.
From small domestic installations to 10,000 fitting commercial applications.
Pre-Commissioning mode is an out of the box functionality of the Monitor DALI Hub. The purpose of pre-commissioning mode is to allow the installer to validate the wiring of the DALI networks before a Liteplan commissioning engineer attends the site. This means that any installation errors can be identified and corrected at much earlier in the project removing one of the key causes of project overruns on DALI sites. To use Pre-Commissioning mode the installer simply needs to connect the DALI busses to the DALI Hubs and switch on the power. The DALI Hub will then begin a sequence of broadcast commands on both DALI Networks inhibiting the emergency control gear. This feature protects the batteries by stopping discharges when the mains power is cut off. This used to be a major cause of premature battery deterioration on site prior to handover.
All features and reports are accessed via a wall mounted touchscreen which is connected to the network via either Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Conforms to BS:EN 62034:2012 Automatic Test Systems for Battery Powered Emergency Escape Lighting covers both self-contained stand-alone luminaires (SELF-TEST) and self-contained centrally monitored luminaires (DALI).
This can be carried out in a fraction of the time of traditional DALI operating systems and by one person, dramatically reducing commissioning costs.
The system initiates and processes testing in accordance with BS 5266-1, without any added complications. Commissioning tests, monthly functionality tests and a full three hour duration test once a year.
Functionality and duration test schedules can be programmed to not interfere with the surrounding environment. These can also be grouped for added flexibility.
Simple to navigate pages that highlight issues and location of problems easily. Utilises an iOS platform.
PDF Reports are sent to selected email addresses following each test showing that all is healthy, or highlighting any specific issues.
Rather than having to pre-address replacement emergency control gear, Monitor will auto heal the new part addressing it itself.
